Joji S. Gill leads Human Resources for Applied Materials and its more than 30,000 global employees. She joined the Executive Leadership Team in January 2024. 

Ms. Gill originally joined Applied Materials in May of 2020, bringing with her a valuable mix of experiences through a career spanning 30 years at DuPont, Microsoft, Symantec, and KLA-Tencor. While at Applied, she has been a key leader driving operational effectiveness through the company’s recent growth and has led the business on talent strategies, organizational effectiveness and leadership capability.

Prior to joining Applied Materials, Ms. Gill was Vice President, Global HR for DuPont in Singapore leading Global HR Delivery and Corporate Functions. She was also the Managing Director and Country Leader for Singapore Dupont.

Based in Silicon Valley, she has lived and worked in Europe, India and Singapore and has broad experience working across Asia—with a focus on leadership coaching, organizational and cultural transformation, global talent development and acquisition strategies and people leadership. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in HR management and industrial relations from Panjab University.
